Review of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) by Brady L — 05 Feb 2018

Tom Cruise continues to own this character in this by the numbers sequel. The action sequences are very well put together and the story follows a pretty basic line from beginning to middle to end. There are a few twists and turns that the characters must navigate in order to further the plot and the story but for the most part, you will be entertained til the end.

The inclusion of the possible paternal element was a neat addition, especially with the writing of the teen character not dissimilar to the Jack Reacher character. Overall, this movie is not as good as the first one but it still delivers where it needs to.
