Review of Jaws 2 (1978) by Cheetah C — 13 Jan 2018
3 years afternoon those vicious shark attacks, Chief Brody returns when a great white shark once again threatens the seaside resort of Smity island. Roy Schneider returns in this sequel which is a pale imitation of the classic original.
Director Jeannot Szwarc tries to emulate Steven Speilberg's imaginative style, but loses control of a film guided mainly by its stalwart star. There are times when you have to wonder why they bothered.
