Review of Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity (2007) by Jacob P — 11 Jun 2011
Jeff Dunham at his peak brings his A-Game delivering witty, politically-incorrect humor with his puppets that hilariously invoke a plethora of offensive stereotypes. With that in mind, while it is his peak performance it hasn't aged well with much of his humor as exhibited in this special being adopted by far-right voices to turn what was light-hearted jabs into support for a hateful worldview.
Nonetheless, this special shows Dunham at a time when he was pushing boundries as a comedic talent who combined ventriloquism with social commentary and adult humor.
