Review of Johnson Family Vacation (2004) by Matt S — 04 Jul 2005
This movie was good even in all the mistakes. For one, Bow Wow seemed like a horny little boy for awhile there at 310 motoring! Good God! I wanted to shoot him to shut him up! The little girl was so fake! It felt as though she was reading off of a teleprompter. Some of the sexual humor could have been left out and it could have been made into a real family film at PG. Cedric the Entertainer wasn't that great unless he was playing a skitso person! He started off as a tight-ass insurance person and turned into basically one of the kids.
Overall, this movie was a family film with crude humor shoved in so it could rank in at PG-13.
The movie was good though providing thorough laughs. The voodoo hitchhiker was great and so was Uncle Earl...Steve Harvey played his part so well I literally hated him!!!
6/10.
