Review of Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) by Bryanbezter — 24 Apr 2020
Fun and thrilling adventure. The visual effects and animation are very bad.
Debatable holes:
1. Free fast internet connection on the plane was not so common.
2. Trevor and Sean were very loud on the plane and no one complained.
3. The reason for Trevor to fly to Iceland was not realistic, considering that he also had his nephew at home.
4. The bottom of the hole where Trevor, Sean and Hannah fell into was not as deep as it looked at first. It was also very visible, so Sean and Trevor should have seen it.
5. The bottom of the hole was very bright.
6. It should have been very hot down there but no one was sweating significantly.
7. The weather, sea, waves, storm, cloud, sun, oxygen, and plant life down there were not explained very well, but it worked for the movie.
8. They were very lucky to survive the storm, wavy sea, small and big sea creatures, magnetic rocks, thin layer, carnivorous plant, and lava.
9. The volcano should have been extremely hot and dangerous. They should have not even been able to breathe properly.
