Review of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) by Robert R — 19 Jul 2012
For a three-hour running time, the film should expose some revelatory truths, but no: This film is painfully slow and showcases a very poorly developed script. The Nazis are bad, we get it, they did terrible things.
You don't need to drive it into the ground to prove your point. And Spencer Tracy gives an awfully cliched performance of a frustrated judge, complete with gratuitous forehead rubbing and eye squinting.
