Review of Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) by Berik — 02 Oct 2020
In true sequel fashion, it is not the hit that its predecessor was. While the use of Danny Devito and Danny Glover is funny, it doesn't hide the fact that characters have the same issues as in the first movie.
The charisma of The Rock is non-existent, and other than Jack Black there's not much reason for this cast to be in it. The plot is forgettable, but there's just enough humour in it that it wasn't a failure.
It's an average movie.
