Review of Jungle (2017) by Imthenoob — 26 Nov 2017
I like Radcliffe as an actor and always love when he does something unique. So playing a man who is lost in the Amazon without shelter or food for weeks definitely peeked my interest. Especially when it's based on a true story. Sadly, The director and the screenwriter ruin this true story and instead turn it into another lame action-adventure kind of film.
There's no suspense. No addressing the severity of the situation that Radcliffe's character finds himself in. This should have been a very gritty kind of drama, like 127 Hours, but instead ends up being on par with a straight to video action film release. It's just a big disappointment for me.
