Review of Kapoor & Sons (2016) by Mihir P — 22 Mar 2016
All the characters and plot turns seem very real to life. Every family can identify with the family dynamics of the Kapoors. Although high is drama, the film tends to give off a depressing tone, but lightens the mood intermittently with funny quips from each character.
The film should not be mistaken for a love triangle but more about the family relationship (or lack there of) between husband and wife, mother-son, and father-son. The relation between Alia & Siddharth's characters is below epic love story but a true modern 21st century romance. Rishi Kapoor (the grandfather) is wonderful in acting as the glue that holds everyone together.
