Kill Boksoon opens with a scene that sets the style and tone that will permeate most of the film, especially the conclusion of that same scene, and, as such, there isn't much to discover or be surprised by throughout, but I found the journey satisfyingly exhilarating and entertaining. With problems, of course, but it comes off better than many other South Korean films of the same size and caliber.

Hardly unusual or outstanding, nevertheless it manages with ease and a pertinent thrill to pull off its proposal, and that was good enough for me.
