Horrible movie, yes some nice effects, lacking plot and substance though. captain never trusted and yes continued to allow the "tech head" to stay with the party and never questioned substantive.
One of the earliest remarks was where the tech head told captain that he was letting his men die, well just before that, she said she was the one who created them, thus creating the entire plot line of the movie.
It failed constantly in contradicting itself and is just not worth watching imho.
