Utterly baffled as to the good reviews this has gotten, pretentious, muddled, indeciepherable nonsense....
I'm all for ad-lib natural acting, but when you can't hear 9 out of 10 of the lines, it quickly becomes frustrating.
The soundtrack, while occasionally atmospheric seems to be thrown in at random seemingly miss timed moments, and suddenly cut off, as if it's just a forced attempt to be arty....
It's nicely shot, in a grim way, and the violence is suitably shocking, but when it's all so purposeless it becomes... err... pointless. Once random unexplainable things start happening, with no information as to speculate why or in fact how they are happening, the whole thing finally falls apart. Rubbish.
