Review of Kill List (2011) by Brian S — 08 Dec 2018

Another low-budget horror movie that turns out to be quite unnerving. It does have flaws, like the execution is quercky and the actors just tend to mumble a lot of their dialogue, which makes it hard to understand for the love of fuck.

But believe it or not, the fact that this flick is full of plot-holes makes it all the more scary, especially the third act is extremely tense and gory. The movie is very slow-burning, but always keeps an unsafe atmosphere and gradually builds up to an efficient horror film, that isn't for everyone's tastes, but it's definitely a horror gem and deserves a solid three stars.
