Do not, do not, do not listen to the critics. They are a bunch of old guards pining for Camelot. This is a great movie. I own the classic John Boorman Excalibur and I was skeptical about this one, but I loved it.
It's a twist in an old story done with style. If you're a fan of Lord of the Rings, see this and leave the critics to watch their classic.
