Review of King Kong (1933) by Matt G — 28 Oct 2017
King Kong in this version is even better figure than the hero created by CGI in Peter Jackson's remake with 2005! The animated stop-motion puppet with waking up more compassion, on his face at times you can see real emotions! The film itself the progenitor of modern blockbuster, but a few classes better than them! Packed action and the atmosphere of adventure to a fault! The battle at the top of the Empire State Building is one of the greatest finals in the history of cinema! In my opinion only "Star Wars" in 1977 managed to break through the pageantry "King Kong".
EPIC, great, timeless cinema...
