Review of Knights of the South Bronx (2005) by Paul D — 14 Sep 2010
The plot workthrough has a very familiar structure to it, the only difference in this one is that chess is the dominant theme that helps the underpriviliged find meaning and hope. It also has a good feel to it, Ted Danson's character is genuine, and whilst a lot of scenes clearly are manufactured to play with the emotions, it is very watchable.
