Review of Knock at the Cabin (2023) by Agarrit — 25 Mar 2023
The scene at the end with the daughter and father, with the radio, was my favorite scene. I wasn’t super impressed overall and mostly just hated the plot. I didn’t care for some of the directing. Premise is interesting but the flow of the plot is lacking.
Very clunky. A few too many stereotypes represented for me. I mostly enjoyed the actors, but I can’t get passed the story and the poor writing choices (or maybe it’s more poor directing choices). I wanted to like it more but it fell short for me.
Good for representation of the queer community.
