Review of Knowing (2009) by Tonya N — 25 Feb 2014
This was a little bit thrilling with the plane crash and the subway crash, but those scenes were about it. But its hollywoods version of the End of times. Its a cross between the Omega Code, the Left Behind Series, and some alien movie.
I perfer Revelations version of the end times and the Tim LaHay's and Jerry B. Jenkins version of the End times better. The Left behind movies were ok...the books...now those rocked! Much more thrilling!! Plagues, hailstones with blood, hailstones with fire, the mark of the beast, hangings, some days with complete and total darkness (where you can't see five feet in front of your face), water turning to blood, creatures that attack people that are no bigger than large wasps, black market selling and swindling becomes a way of surviving, huge earth quakes leveling hundreds of city blocks in one shot.
Much more thrilling!!
Course in this movie...the little black rocks confused me. what was the purpose of them? Was that they way they were called and were chosen?
Someone down farther said that "if you're a religious freak you'll love it." I may be what people may call a religious freak and I thought it was pretty blahish. Two points were exciting, the subway crash and the plane crash. Id say if you want exciting, read the Left behind series and listen to the dramatic audio verisons on cd (the good version read with multiple actors).
