Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Tim M — 20 Sep 2018
Visually spectacular, yet lacking in almost every other area aspect, 'Kong: Skull Island' is a contrived mish mosh of uselessness. The movie supposedly takes place in the 70s, but the script is mostly in the 2000s vernacular.
If you stay until the end of the credits you'll get the setup for Kong vs. Godzilla. Whoppie!! John C. Reilly is fun as a WWII vet that is stranded on the island, but there is virtually no character development.
Worth missing. Final Score: 4.1/10.
