Review of Kung Fu Panda (2008) by Evelineraine — 08 Sep 2018

You wouldn't think that something released as recently as 2008 can become such a nostalgic experience, but it did. When rewatching Kung Fu Panda today I have not only gotten a ton of nostalgic vibes, but also lots of enjoyment and entertainment, just like watching it for the first time. And the nostalgia I felt was not only about the movie itself, but also about the past times when I first watched it. And it takes a piece of art to be really great if not only the experience of watching it is captured in memory, but also the environment at the time of doing it.

The movie certainly has some minor plot flaws, and the silly Jack Black-ish panda Po can be annoying at times, but overall the movie is not less than excellent. And after watching it for so many times, I am certain I will again, I will enjoy it a lot.
