Review of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) by Remi P — 07 Oct 2017
I had seen this when it was first released but never thought much of the film. I found the film for 50 cent and thought it was a talent connected with Jim Carrey, so why the hell not. The clear devotion is there but some of the jokes just miss, I'm just missing some of the inside jokes that many others love.
I may revisit this one down the track but I originally had this film as a 1, so I've come a long way since my first viewing. The credits reveal how much went into this film and I think that will elevate the film for my next viewing.
The film has a juvenile sense of humour which you will need to overcome to find anything of interest here. The film is heavily flawed but it is nowhere near the horrible film I remember and I can see why there is a cult following.
