This is a fine movie, no doubt. I did go in expecting more based on the soaring critical reviews (one critic called it the best movie in 6 years, and said he went back 7 times.), so I was a bit disappointed on these standards.
However, it is the best musical I have seen in a long time, it is exceedingly original, and the two leads are stellar. Definitely one to be seen on the big screen.
