Germany's submission for Oscar's for Foreign Language Film. This was an entertaining if somewhat formulaic look at the way post war Germany dealt with the Nazis and the conduct of the war, particularly at Aushwitz. The world needs to be thankful for those courageous enough to peel back the curtain and do the right as well as the difficult things. A needed story well told.
