Review of Labyrinth of Lies (2014) by David P — 30 Oct 2015
Easily the best picture that I've seen this year. Well acted, great script. It doesn't get overly melodramatic or saccharin and it doesn't look for easy ways out of the storyline which, while Nazi tales have been done and done to death, finds a fresh angle in the youth of twenty-years post WWII discovering the lies whitewashing the atrocities of their parents past.
Amazing film that, if it were in English, would absolutely be a Best Picture contender.
