A24 has been the front runner in delivering indie and bizarre delights, but "Lamb" fails to be a classic in their library.
The movie delivers great on exploring the landscape and characters, but then falls very flat on its face not far after revealing this discovery on their farm. The plot is also missing here for a bit of the movie. When you discover why they keep this bizarre child you no longer feel the need to sympathize with these characters and it becomes a very odd journey from there.
Films like this one seem to explore a deeper meaning and it just doesn't shine through and neither of the leads in this movie are able to save the script and it's interpretation.
