Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life (2003) by Doctor S — 02 Sep 2015
Simply lacks the same thrills and escapism captured in the first cinematic adventure of Lady Croft. Angelina still exudes plenty of dangerous sexy cool and there are some exciting sequences, including an actual breathtaking hang-gliding stunt in wingsuits high above the streets of Shanghai and a daring escape from Chinese radicals, but the writing is flat and winds up with one of the most unmemorable anticlimaxes to be found in any action movie.
