It would be much more of a film if Gus Van Sant didn't keep hiding the fact that he's portraying Nirvana's front man Kurt Cobain by calling the blonde main character another name other than Cobain.
It's long shots and music choices are amazing nonetheless, but "Last Days" could have been more than it is.
