Review of Life Itself (2014) by Daniel S — 03 Sep 2015
I'm definitely biased going into this review, as Roger Ebert to date has had the biggest impact on my life outside of family, his reviews are what largely fostered my interest in film, and were such an integral part of my life all the way up to his death, so seeing this documentary was a very personal experience for me, it was great seeing his early life, all these key people in the film industry speaking about him, and then the gritty details of how his life became after he got cancer and lost the ability to speak, there are some pretty tough scenes to watch, he was a man who literally changed the world, and definitely my life.
