I don't know what the hell these people are taking about. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Was it 'Shawshank Redemption' good, of course not, but that's not what it was going for. Any movie that can make me laugh so hard I cried, which doesn't happen very often, is obviously worth the time to view it.
If you like McCarthy, I can't see why you wouldn't enjoy it.
