Logan elevates itself beyond its genre with one of the most intimate portrayals of a superhero put on screen. By shrinking the scale, and keeping itself focused on its more human elements, James Mangold gives Wolverine a far more engrossing conclusion than the X-Men franchise ever really deserved.
