Review of Logan Lucky (2017) by John A — 18 Aug 2017
I had not seen or heard much about this movie but I loved the cast. When the movie started, as a Southerner, I was almost immediately on edge that it was going to be a satire about Southern life and make fun of the South.
I was wrong and I think it does a great job of portraying a lot of the small town oddities that are apart of Southern life. Furthermore, as the movie plays out, you realize these people look and talk different than other parts of the country but are intelligent, funny individuals.
The movie was a spectacularly enjoyable ride that I would encourage everyone to jump on.
