Review of Look Who's Talking Too (1990) by Corey W — 03 Aug 2013
Lackluster sequel to the 1989 hit. As I said when I reviewed the first film, the idea of the inner thoughts of a baby can only carry a movie so far, and that movie pretty much pushed it as far as it can go.
This time around we not only have Bruce Willis voicing a baby (that should be talking on its own by now), but also Roseanne Barr joins up as the voice of his little sister. Oh and Damon Wayans is his friend.
The egg and sperm have a creepy sex conversation too. And Mel Brooks as a toilet. That's right, even the toilet talks. Amy Heckerling tried to make a decent sequel, but it just feels like her ideas are all rehashes.
The baby in the womb puppet is way worse this time around for some reason. And the jokes are weaker. It has some moments, but the premise is stretched so thin it is kind of hard to enjoy.
