Review of M (1931) by Patrick Y — 20 Jul 2015
Nearly perfect in every way, Fritz Lang's M is a dark, suspenseful picture that basically invented the police procedural. Its bifurcated focus on both the police tracking a child killer and the criminal element that hunts him as well creates a taught, tense drama that has been replicated numerous times but never as well.
