Review of M (1931) by Ryan G — 04 Sep 2012
This is Lang's strongest film. There is a genius script, excellent acting, and an overall chilling atmosphere. Maybe this is one that could benefit from a re-make? because if Lang had been able to do more back then, this could have been the greatest crime movie ever made.
It is a great movie, but falls barely shy of a masterpiece. I also loved the way he combined the silent techniques with the new and improved talkie structure.
