I’d give it a C+/B-. Plot was absolutely predictable. No character did anything surprising, and the dialogue was colorless. Visually it was very well crafted. Costumes, sets, and CGI were superb. But Angelina Jolie seems unable to show any strong emotion, and I didn’t feel any emotional loyalty to anyone except Prince Phillip, Diaval (the raven), Conall (yes, it’s the black fairy that ), and Pinto.
The best I can say is it was entirely watchable.
