Review of Man About Town (1939) by Jessica W — 20 Sep 2008
I expected something different when I read the blurb of the dvd at the video store - I think I needed one more to get the six for seven dollar deal - and I thought that this would be a bit of a love story.
But it is a very complex movie looking into the themes of love, work and family, and everything in between. It is interesting, nonetheless. I recommend it for those who like those complex, complicated films that have a valid storyline.
