Review of Man of the Year (2006) by Amanda W — 15 Mar 2014
(54%).
A film that flips its focus throughout resulting in something between a political satire, stand-up routine, conspiracy thriller with a dabble of romantic drama that for the most part works quite well. Robin Williams is ideally suited in a role that allows his talent in comedy and serious acting to run in equal measures and the film is very funny in places. A movie then that is not for everyone but will find fans out there, particularly with those with political interests.
