Review of Mannequin Two: On the Move (1991) by Ben L — 14 Feb 2013
The misadventures with mannequins continue in Mannequin: On the Move. In this fish out of water tale a famous mannequin known as the Enchanted Peasant Girl is brought to life after a thousand year curse is lifted.
William Ragsdale and Kristy Swanson lead the cast and have good chemistry together. However, most of the characters (particularly the villains) are overly cartoonish and cliched. Additionally, the comedy quickly devolves into juvenile, slapstick humor that isn't very funny.
A pathetic imitation of the original, Mannequin: On the Move is a formulaic piece of tripe that's rather joyless.
