There's something inconceivable about its greatness, given the simplicity of tone here. A moral melodrama on par with Dogville. Watching this makes me feel like Anna Paquin's career is mostly wasted.
Her performance of teenage confusion is unwieldy, perfect -- somehow both immature and wise.
