I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the movie but it did not have the magic of the original. Of course that could be because I was 9 years old when I say it! This was fun and touching (I cried 3 times during them movie.
) If you do not remember the original you will miss all the homage pieces and reminders. Seeing Dick Van Dyke was worth the trip! It is hard to appreciate a musical when you do not see many being made like this anymore.
Problem is, if you never say the original it will not flow for you.
