Mary's return is super cute and very different than the original. In a lot of ways, it is the same, the mix between animation and real life, with the addition of new and updated songs. The cameo by Dick Van Dyke brought applause when he appears on screen.
Angela Lansbury can still bring the vocals, if you close your eyes when she sings you can see Mrs. Potts from Beauty and The Beast. The pace of the movie falters at times, but overall we enjoyed it and the full theater applauded at the end of the movie.
It was a worthy sequel to a timeless classic!
