Review of Megamind (2010) by Anthony K — 02 Mar 2018
Not really very funny, which is surprising given its cast, but but Megamind is totally passable family entertainment (if boy-centric) that far exceeds the majority of Dreamworks efforts. Brad Pitt and Tina Fey are woefully miscast, yes, clearly just there to trade on their star power (no doubt Brad only had to do a day of voice work) but the overall theme of toxic masculinity is pretty forward thinking.
David Cross is a highlight.
