Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Michael C — 10 Dec 2011
Out of all of the comedies I've seen, this is the earliest one that really started instituting humor with a much rougher level of language and topics, and it is a terrific framework for all of the action comedies that followed after.
DeNiro didn't all of a sudden develop comedy skills when he chose "Meet the Parents" and "Analyze This" as he is very funny here, and Charles Grodin was a terrific foil to mine comedy gold in this really fun and funny movie.
