Review of Minority Report (2002) by Miccael — 12 Aug 2019
The reason I am giving 9/10 is because this movie is one of the best futuristic-type of movies that make you feel like it could happen one day (at least some aspects of it such as AI predicting people's actions (and murders) from behaviour of people). Movie also predicts some technology that is real today such as MR (mixed reality), Facetime and retina recognition. Mind you this movie is from 2002 but created way before that.
Tom Cruise is amazing and all actors do good job overall. Steven Spielberg does great job with amazing camera shots and angles. Movie isn't perfect but pacing is very well done compared to movie length, which is a lot. Plot twists are real good but some things are not handled well (such as a character death) and some movie-lore-related paradoxes. Movie tries to handle them somehow but once you think deeper, it stops making sense. Overall, amazing movie.
