When an artificial intelligence threatens the World, Ethan Hunt and his team return to the field.

At this point it’s hard to argue that Mission Impossible isn’t the most reliable movie franchise in the history of cinema and Dead Reckoning Part 1, the first part of the final two movies in the series, delivers exactly what you’d expect. The plot is as baffling as ever, with a little too much exposition, but the partnership of Cruise and the lovely Hayley Atwell is great fun and the action scenes are just incredible (especially when you know Cruise actually did the vast majority of it for real). This is definitely one of those movies you have to see in the cinema.
