Review of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011) by Haven W — 15 Dec 2018
Well this was a lot of fun. Tom Cruise continues to be be a brilliant action star. Simon Pegg is a perfect sidekick and Brad Bird directs a home run in his first live action film. Even though it's cartoony at times, that aspect works.
At over two hours, it flies by. The bottom line is if you want to be entertained this is something that will get the job done. The CGI feels real. Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton are believable, despite not being all that developed.
The fact that Cruise does his own stunts makes this even more enjoyable. This feels like a classic James Bond movie. Final Score:8.3/10.
