Review of Mojave Phone Booth (2006) by Haakon N — 12 Nov 2008
I enjoyed this--the characters are all hanging by a thread, and the result is, strangely enough, one of the more contemplative movies in recent memory. The sum of the parts is simple enough and the message is engagingly told--it will all be OK even if we can't see how.
It is reassuring even as it is unsettling. Really very cool.
