Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Richard D — 22 Mar 2008
This is a lovely, life-affirming film, which manages to cram slapstick, family drama, modernity and the dehumanisation of the industrial age into one two hour gag-fest.
Makes you realise why you loved cinema in the first place.
