Review of Moon (2009) by Ben B — 06 Mar 2018
I recently watched a Watch Mojo Top 10 YouTube video titled "Top Underrated Actors." Turns out that Sam Rockwell was number one and that is how I came to watch 'Moon.' This film really does show Sam Rockwell's acting chops.
He is happy during the small moments of joy he experiences being a lonely astronaut. He gives audiences what true isolation would feel like. Most of all, he is like many of us, just wanting more from life.
Things take a twist when he finds out that he really does not have much time left and he is not so unique after all. Along with having a robot friend voiced by Kevin Spacey, this film makes for a different, but refreshing sci-fi drama.
The originality and creativity of this film will keep you in suspense and will provide emotional moments.
