Made on a Commodore 64 from the first draft of a script that somehow got pulled out of a Recycle bin before trash pick up day. Unfortunate, because recycling 200 sheets of paper would have been a much greater contribution to humanity than this bloated dreck.

Every Roland Emerich picture reminds you of why you hated the last Roland Emerich picture, by amplifying all of his worst creative impulses, each on a grander scale than the last. Here’s the thing: he can no longer structure an entertaining script. He can’t write dialogue, he can’t create dimensional characters. What he can do, somehow, is get movies financed.

Independence Day, a fun, throw away film that I actually like, was and is his high point. Moonfall is dumb, depressing garbage.
